Leaf Learning for 17 Month Old

Our kiddo loves playing with leaves, but we wanted to get him to add the word leaf to his vocabulary, so here are some of the activities we did!

Leaf Window Clings
This is great for fine motor development

Leaf Coloring Sheets

We cut these out and covered them with clear contact paper, so he could use them to identify leaves later

Artificial Leaf Play

This was great when it was too cold to go play outside this fall!

Collecting Leaves in the Basket

This is beneficial for fine and gross motor development

Outdoor Leaf Play

Nothing beats the real thing! He LOVED jumping in the leaves outside on a beautiful fall day!
