Ladybug Habitat Play
After watching the videos and discussing what ladybugs eat and where they lived, we gathered grass, leaves and other nature items to make a habitat for our pretend lady bugs. It is great to let the kids get outside in the garden and explore!

Ladybug Spelling Words (we did our spelling test outside with sidewalk chalk to make it more fun!)

- Pupa
- Larva
- Ladybug
Ladybug Vocabulary Cards (I always make these for my visual/kinesthetic learners to read and hold)
MATHEMATICS
After watching the seven spotted ladybug videos we did these math worksheets:
For the younger kids this one is great for counting, practice writing, and an introduction to math equations:
For advanced students here is a math worksheet that includes addition practice, pattern recognition, and logic:
ART AND DESIGN
Ladybug Masks - All you need to make these are red and black paper, markers, scissors, popsicle sticks and tape. We had a lot of fun with these!
Painted Ladybug Rocks
The kiddos loved painting rocks and drawing spots to make ladybug friends!
GET MOVING
Here is a great song from Little Baby Bum called Ladybug Ladybug
Ladybug Search / Garden Time - We went out to the garden to look for ladybugs, jump around, and get dirty!
Have fun little LADYBUGS!
